COOLPIX (2020)
Coolpix is a project containing photographs taken throughout the duration of a year with a Nikon 4300 Coolpix camera. The photos are manually sequenced into categories, such as form, subject, color, personal association– starting to catalog and make sense out of the unheroic photos of the everyday.
The rapid pacing animates the still images, using formal continuity to fill out spaces between memories, while generating a restlessness that comes with living in a time inundated with objects and stimuli.
